About the Team

Team 3257 is a competitive high school robotics team under the auspices of Placer County 4-H. The team currently has students from Placer, Lincoln, Woodcreek, Rocklin, Whitney, Granite Bay and Del Oro high schools but welcomes students that attend ANY high school in Placer County including home schooled students.

Our team competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition, or FRC.  FIRST is a global organization whose mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

We currently have students from Del Oro, Rocklin, Placer, Woodcreek, ​Western Sierra collegiate academy, Granite Bay, Whitney, John Adams, Lincoln, ​South Sutter, and Sequoia Grove high schools, but we welcome students that attend ANY high school in Placer County, including homeschool students.
